So, as some of you are aware, I have a webcomic in the works and I'm so excited about it!
I'm getting closer and closer to finishing the revised outline for book one of my upcoming webcomic. At this moment in time I'm planning several chapters/issues for book one but we'll see what happens in the next stage of revisions, the final number is yet to be determined. Today I'm working on character and environment concepts and filling in plot holes! I am loving this process so far.
Has anyone out there worked on a webcomic before? What has your experience been?

Possible commissions?
Hello!
Just a heads up that I might be opening commissions within the next few days if any of you nice people are interested! I'll most likely be offering character concept drawings and fully painted character concepts (for your own characters) like I did last time. I really enjoyed getting to do characters, it was a blast and I'd love to try my hand at some more! Anyway, if you're interested keep your eyes open for another post sometime soonish.
Have a lovely day!
THANK YOU - Prints - And a question
Thank you so much for all the kind feedback on my recent illustrations. The support is humbling, thank you!
I recently opened an online print shop at INPRNT, if you've got a minuet you can check it out here: http://www.inprnt.com/gallery/hannahchristenson/
And lastly, the question. How do you choose between multiple personal projects? Do you have more than one? I've been in a bit of a tough spot with my personal projects. I'm working on two projects in my spare time and I suppose I just need to be decisive and choose one already. But how? I love them both and am excited about both. Does this ever happen to you? How do you go about choosing
Many thanks and commission news
Many thanks for the kind words regarding the two character concepts I recently put up! I appreciate your kindness! :) As previously stated, they are two of many characters for an upcoming webcomic project of mine. I'm excited about it!
In other news, I'm about to offer commissions for a short time. In my freelance work I don't often get the opportunity to do character concepts like this. I greatly enjoy them, so I'd like to do a few more! The commissions I'll offer will mostly be of the character kind, so if you're at all interested keep an eye open, commissions will open any day now!
good day!
Hannah

I've begun trying to work on comics and how you approach it really depends on your experience you have with it.
I think the best comics, and stories in general, work as a series of 'events' almost like a string of small stories or episodes that stand on their own, but work into an overall plot. If you feel creative or just want to try it out from the word go, It's good to go with a character, or concept and see how it pans out - maybe the smaller events will spark ideas for an overall story? maybe you'll find a way to work them into something bigger. all-in-all, it's best to start with the small details and work with them little by little, towards something grand. Don't force-feed the reader with information.
Also I've found that it's good to not be overly 'precious' about your comic. Avoid going into the road of obsession because It can warp your percpetion and opinion on your story. It'll get the point where you've thought so much about what the characters favourite colour, food, hobby is that it's like your laughing nervously while crying; "hey! see this character?!? arn't they great!??"
um, In terms of practical advice i guess: get as many of the pages, if not ALL of them done, before you show them - then you don't have to worry about working every week to meet the deadline.
you proberbly know all this by now i guess tho x__x
